Megan Sweeney

Chief Operations Officer, Director of Finance

Megan Sweeney currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Finance at GXG. In this role, Megan manages all aspects of GXG's internal operations. She is responsible for GXG’s financial analysis and annual budgeting process, HR operations, technology strategy, global expansion planning, and early stage investment evaluations. Megan is also responsible for strategy and execution of a subset of GXG’s key clients. 

Since assuming this role in September of 2016, Megan has led several initiatives, including implementing a formal RFP process to evaluate new external partners, creating monthly financial reporting and annual budgeting processes, implementing a formal end-of-year evaluation for all associates, and building models to evaluate global expansion as well as early stage investments.

Prior to joining GXG, Megan was a consultant with Alvarez & Marsal’s Performance Improvement practice, where she focused on supply chain and sourcing engagements spanning a wide breadth of industries including consumer packaged goods, electronics, chemicals and recycled materials. Megan has proven abilities in people, process, and technology transformation as well as commodity sourcing and spend analytics. She honed these skills internationally during a year-long engagement with a global electronic manufacturer, based primarily in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.

Megan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was one of a select group of incoming students to receive the President’s Scholarship. She enjoys running, cooking, trying out new restaurants, and uncovering hidden gems throughout Atlanta.
