CIO Visions Leadership Summit 2019

CMO Ted Sullivan and Chief Client Officer Charles Thomason connected with a community of CIOs for two days in Las Vegas. Three top learning gaps stood out:

  • Legacy systems modernization
  • Cloud migration
  • And building the roadmap to real-time insights from data.

These are highly complex, expensive initiatives. Gartner predicts that every dollar invested in digital business innovation through the end of 2020 will require enterprises to spend at least three times that to continuously modernize the legacy application portfolio.

The good news is there are a number of experienced executives with solutions to share. At a recent GXG advisory board, an external member shared their decision-making process for closing a data center. We’ve also seen some financial services firms using RPA to link and automate across legacy systems, rather than replace.

Charles is sharing more insights in his weekly video series over on our LinkedIn.
